There are many reasons why a homeowner would want to finish their basement.
*Add value to the home
*Add extra square footage
*Have an area for entertaining guest
*Create a livable space
This customer reached out to us because they wanted their basement to be usable space, they would like to entertain their guests and also have an area for storage. We came out and installed our Thermal Dry Elite Plank flooring, full drywall install with metal studs, prepped and painted the ceiling, installed 3 Everlast windows and numerous door installs. This basement is now ready to entertain some guests.
This customer got a finished space featuring our waterproof and mold resistant products: Mill Creek flooring, Everlast Wall System, and a dropped ceiling. We installed a lovely full bathroom, but since the bathroom sits below the level of the main sewer line, and drainage depends on gravity, we also installed a sewer ejection system. (Don't worry! We hid it under the floor in the linen closet. Out of sight, out of mind!) Electric baseboard heat was added to keep the space toasty warm, and a new SaniDry XP Air System handles any moisture in the air and leaves the basement with fresh, filtered air. A wonderful place to hibernate this Winter!
This customer reached out to us because they were interested to have a finished open space, an exercise area, and a full bath installed. They chose to invest in Total Basement Finishing (TBF) waterproofing and mold resistant products which included the TBF wall system, flooring, and an egress window. We were able to transform this basement into a beautiful, healthy usable space!
This home had water damaged and moldy carpet in the basement. We took it out and installed waterproof wood look flooring designed for damp areas like basements. Regular flooring will not do well in basements because the concrete floor is porous and lets moisture through. When you cover it with carpet or other types of flooring, you can trap the air and create moisture. Wood-look flooring looks just like wood even though it is made of vinyl. So there is no way that the new flooring can be damaged by water.
This basement had a lot of obstacles and a low ceiling. But we can still make it look nice. With size doors, painted ceiling, and insulated thermal flooring, we can transform a basement into a beautiful dry and useable space.
