Lincoln University's Basement Experts

Basement Systems USA is the local, family owned contractor in Lincoln University for waterproofing, crawl space repair and mold removal. With over 75 years combined experience and a full-time, professional staff we are ready to serve you and improve your home.

Basement Waterproofing & Crawl Space Repair

Flooding, water seepage or even high humidity can quickly result in mold growth and water damage in your basement or crawl space. We prevent this from happening by installing an interior drainage system in the basement that is connected to a high volume sump pump. Any water that makes it to the basement is collected and pumped out of the home without you even noticing.

Just like the basement, in the crawl space we similarly place a sump pump system and dehumidifier to prevent water issues. The entire area is encapsulated with vapor barrier to prevent mold growth. Our crawl space system comes with a 25-year warranty.

We Provide:
  • Basement Waterproofing
  • Crawl Space Encapsulation
  • Exclusive, Patented Products
  • Humidity Control
You Receive:
  • Permanently Dry Basement
  • Clean Protected Crawlspace
  • Protection against Mold
  • Improved Home Value

If the walls of the basement or bowing inwards we install wall anchors or braces to straighten the walls. If the floor above the crawl space is sagging we install SmartJack support jacks to raise the floor back to a level position. Our Lincoln University waterproofing systems come with life-time warranties.

At Basement Systems USA, we provide full mold remediation for basements, including air sample testing. Our company has the ability to not just remediate the mold, but also remove the source of the mold, which is moisture. Unlike other mold remediation companies, our background in basement & crawlspace waterproofing allows us the make sure that the mold won't come back after it has been remediated. This customer reached out regarding a foundation crack located on the basement wall. We injected the crack with Urethane and applied our FlexiSpan system which permanently stops water leaks through basement wall cracks.

I have a rental property with significant moisture issues in the walk out basement (mold growth, occasional flooding). I just had tenants leave and have now found a "step crack" in the cinder block foundation as well as a horizontal crack. I'd be interested in learning more about how to deal with these issues.

Previous owner/builder did poor job water proofing. Remodeling basement, found mold behind drywall and on coated foundation walls, not sure if is is drylock or just paint.

My Sump Pit during heavy rains cannot handle the amount of water. I have a new 1/2 hp Liberty pump and it can't keep up. The discharge goes out to a drain field, but something is not right. I need someone to fix this correctly.

Sump pit exists with no pump and has only intermittently collected water, but was recently discovered filled with ~14 gal. Please contact ASAP to schedule a consultation/quote. Thank you.

Wall has cracks that run the entire height of the wall
Project Location: Lincoln University, PA
We have a leak in the corner of our basement; although it only gets wet once in a while (after hard rain) we would like to get it addressed.
Project Location: Lincoln University, PA
During periods of severe rain, we experience water intrusion through two separate cracks in the basement cement walls, including one that is an entry point for the well-water supply line. Additionally, we experience an issue with a window well protecting the basement window, resulting in water leaking down the side of the window seal. Both of these issues present a moderate inconvenience. When the house was built, a mixed stone foundation was laid beneath the basement floor, which leads to corrugated pipes that flow to a common sump; this was necessary due to drainage associated with water table concerns. Consequently the sump pump operates almost continuously during major storms. We eventually wish to finish our basement, but this will be impossible until the leakage issue is resolved.

Vertical crack in poured concrete basement wall. Extends entire wall from top to bottom. Water leakage during heavy rain storms. Concerned about structural integrity.
