Only negative comment is that I was told we could get a 6-month interest free loan to pay the balance. Never received information as to process--bank, paperwork, etc. Therefore, we had to pay the balance upon finish of job.

The only complaint that I have about the work done is that when it came time to return my hot water tank back to its location near the wall of the basement I found that the installers had placed the port hole for the system right where I needed to put my hot water tank in order to reconnect it. Luckily I can still gain access to the port hole and didn't end up having to re-route my piping but it is semi-covered by the tank which is a bit of a hassle. Other than that I was very happy to see that they were able to install the system without having to cut away my finished walls.

By comparison to other companies, there was no hard sale which I appreciated. The salesperson from another company actually expressed anger when I said I needed 3 days to think about it, but the salesperson from Basement Systems even suggested himself I could take some time to think about it. The crew that came out seemed very knowledgeable with the lead guy explaining things in detail. I felt confident with that he was being truthful. We will see when we have a big rain.

For this job we tracked down the area where the water was coming in and installed a ThermalDry Wall System which is a Vapor Barrier that has a radiant shield that reflects up to 97% of the heat back into your basement. We also installed Waterguard around the perimeter that will direct water getting in to the basement to the SuperSump Pump we installed as well, to get pumped out of the basement.
