Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Defense in Annapolis MD
Basement Systems USA was given a call after this customer ran a 48 hour Radon Charcoal test from Alpha Energy and received results of 4.4pCi/L. Mitigation is recommended by the EPA when levels hit a 4pci/L or higher.
We sent our Radon Inspector Wil Wilson out to this property to work on the best placement and layout for this Radon Mitigation System. Once the layout was in play we then sent our certified radon technician, Jordan, out to complete the mitigation install.
The Radon system we installed in this basement was a Sub-Slab Depressurization System.
Sub Slab Depressurization System
An extraction point is made directly into the slab and sealed off.
This U-shaped device is how we tell if there is a good suction or not.
Radon Fan is placed on the exterior of the home here and the vent pipe is installed above the roof line.
