Radon Gas Mitigation Photo Album: Radon Mitigation with CleanSpace Install in Newark DE
Currently the customers basement had black plastic laid out on the dirt floor leaving many areas open for exposure to moisture and also radon gases, which is brings us to why Basement Systems USA was called out. With the current state the crawlspace was in, the customers levels for radon were coming back at 12.8 pCi/L which is well above the recommended mitigation level of 4pCi/L.
We came out to this customers home and removed all of the current plastic covering the dirt floor and did a full encapsulation with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. We also installed a Radon Depressurization System and sealed off any exposed seams or cracks.
