This customer in Chadds Ford PA reached out to Basement Systems USA in need of help with Radon Mitigation. The customer currently had a system in place, but the fan had burnt out so it was no longer extracting the gases and the current vent pipe, when the fan was working, was disposing of the gases, right next to an upstairs window, so they needed the pipe to be extended. We sent our radon technician, Jordan out to this customers home to take care of their mitigation needs. Jordan installed a brand new Radon Fan, he extended the vent pipe to right above the roof line and also installed a Radon Muffler which will help reduce the noise from the radon fan.

Here is where the Radon gases are extracted to the exterior of the home, the vent pipe location here becomes a big problem when they decide to open that window.
Here we replaced their burnt out fan and installed our noise reducing muffler.
Vent pipe was extended to go out and above the roof line now extracting gases out above the home.
