Mold detection and removal requires certified, experienced professionals in order to identify all existing mold and remove it safely and completely.
Mold damage in a home can be especially difficult to remove permanently. Without a trained and fully certified technician performing the work, the mold may not be completely removed, or it may simply grow back in a few months.
Mold damages personal property and also can seriously affect the health of many residents within a household -- especially those with asthma or allergies. A single square inch of drywall can contain between one and 10 million mold spores. It only takes three to five of those spores to cause a reaction in a sensitive individual.

This crawlspace was damp, dirty and in desperate need of some help. The homeowner reached out to us to tackle the issues he was having with mold and water seepage. First we started by removing all the debris and old insulation. We then treated all the joists with our botanical fungicide, Mold-X2. Once the area was treated we installed a SmartSump pump system with a WaterWatch alarm to remove water and prevent flooding. Next we insulated the walls with SilverGlo wall paneling and lined the entire crawlspace in CleanSpace vapor barrier. This customer contacted us for help with a moldy crawlspace with structural issues. The home was built in the 1800's and the crawlspace showed definite signs of mold infestation. We first tackled the mold by setting up a containment area, removing and disposing of all porous materials including the bottom of the drywall and the insulation. We then treated all non-porous materials, joists and and studs with MoldX2 and Botanical Fungacide and Sealer. Then we used a HEPA vacuum on the entire area, and fogged the area with a Sporicidin disinfectant. Next, we installed new joists alongside the existing old joists and finished stabilizing the area by installing our fully-adjustable, steel pier SmartJack support. To prevent future issues with water intrusion, we installed our WaterGuard perimeter drain system along with a SmartSump sump pump system. Lastly, we installed a Sedona dehumidifier to keep the humidity levels in check and the mold at bay.
